Tikka & Bennelli - The Fun Loving Duo. Two Week Board and Train Option.

All we can say is WOW WOW WOW!
When we first thought about training our dogs, my mom guilt kicked in hard. The idea of sending my dogs away for two weeks felt overwhelming. Two weeks felt so long, and committing to that made me nervous. But my husband reassured me that our girls Benelli (Rottweiler Poodle) and Tikka (Doberman) would truly benefit from obedience training. I reached out to a friend for a trainer recommendation, and she could not say enough good things about Akin. She said he is the best of the best, that he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with, and that he treats them as his own. She shared his number with me, and I reached out immediately.
Akin responded the same day and scheduled a phone call with me for the next day. He was kind, patient, and reassuring, especially with my nervous dog mom heart. He confidently told me that by the end of training, my dogs would look at him like he was their owner. I giggled and he told me he was not kidding. You could hear the pride, passion, and genuine care in his voice.
After that call, I knew Akin was the right choice. He got us in quickly. When we dropped the dogs off, he welcomed us into his home, answered every one of my many nervous questions, and made sure I left feeling confident and comfortable.
Throughout the two weeks, he sent videos almost daily and answered every message within 30 minutes. He always made us feel heard and showed us step by step how our girls were progressing. You could see the gentleness, patience, and hard work in every video. He even kept the dogs an extra two days free of charge just to ensure they reached the level of obedience he strives for.
Drop off day was incredible. Akin walked us through everything. He showed us how to maintain obedience at home, how to use the commands, how to keep structure, and how to be confident leaders for our girls. And when Akin said our dogs would look at him as their owner, he was not kidding. They listened extremely well to him because he taught them how to listen. He trained them to respond beautifully to us while being calm, gentle, and very loving toward them every step of the way. One moment that tugged at my heart but also filled me with gratitude was when Akin was leaving our house after walking us through their training. Tikka, our Doberman, immediately wanted to follow him out the door. He asked her to sit and wait, and she listened perfectly. But the moment he stepped outside and was no longer in sight, her ears dropped fast. You could see the sadness. She was sad to see him go, sad to not be around the amazing Akin, and sad to not spend all day with someone who poured so much love, patience, and play into her. It made me a little sad too, but also incredibly thankful because it showed how deeply she trusted him and how well he cared for her.
Our girls listened beautifully, and we were honestly blown away. Akin is truly one incredible trainer. He is passionate, kind, professional, and deeply connected to the dogs he works with. We could not be happier, and we cannot thank him enough. Akin is a 10 out of 10 recommendation, and because of who he is as a person and as a trainer, he is absolutely a 100 out of 10. We cannot recommend him enough!!!! Thank you Akin!!!
