Liesl, Frannie and Jeb - The cutie. Two week Board and Train.
Akin is an excellent dog trainer! He had my 11 month old Cocker Spaniel for 2 weeks. Frannie is energetic, demanding, stubborn, adorable and needed better manners. She pulled on the leash, constantly barked, begged for food and jumped up on everyone. She liked to be in charge.
Akin sent me daily pictures, videos and updates. Frannie was not only training and learning but spending time with his family! And making herself right at home. I watched Akin teach and discipline Fran and always in a calm voice. He taught me that I didn’t need to change my voice or get upset when I was frustrated with her. I saw Akin reward Frannie with ear rubs, encouragement and affection. After her stay with Akin, Fran understands how to “heel” on a leash. She will “place” and “sit” and knows what “leave it” means. We can eat dinners without her begging as she sits in her “place”.
I am grateful for knowing Akin. I would highly recommend him for your dog’s needs!
