Chico is a rescue who recently turned a year old and who is a goofball full of energy, loves attention when we are out, but is also fearful of many things. I knew I needed Akin’s help to train him correctly and efficiently. As a graduate student, I spend a lot of time studying in public spaces and I knew the two-week board and the train would give Chico and me more freedom to do things together safely and responsibly. Before training, he would become upset if we were out and he was not allowed to play with other dogs or would jump with excitement onto friends or strangers who gave him attention. Now, Chico is a super well-mannered dog and receives so many compliments while we are out walking or at coffee shops (several of which come from other dog owners)! I highly recommend Akin and ABC Training Kennels to anyone who wants a happier and more confident pup!
