Wonderful experience, we highly recommend ABC Training Kennels!  We thought about training for our dog ever since we got him as a puppy, and finally got around to taking action when he was a little over a year.  Bubba is big, high energy and has selective listening.  He knew a few commands, but only listened half the time and only to certain people.  Our hope was that we could get him to be more consistent and to rein in his hyperactivity.  By the end of our sessions we had that and so much more! Bubba was difficult to walk as he pulled and tried to greet every person or other dog we saw.  We did not expect the sessions we booked to fix this, but they did.  By the last session we had him out at Cabela’s, following commands and walking with little supervision.  He stayed in his path and didn’t try to follow any people he came across.  We sat outside at the end and he stayed in place as everyone walked by.  We never imagined this would be possible given his previous behavior.  At home Bubba has improved so much as well.  We are still working on things, but his improvement is drastic.  Akin taught us so many skills and techniques to continue to train him.  He is not perfect, but with what we know now we can continue to work with him help him reach his full potential.
