About Us
Haven spent most of the past two decades actively involved in studying and participating in the different methods and techniques of training dogs. This time has been devoted to training, competing and doing helper work at the highest level, in the sport of shutzhund. Though fond of canines in general, we love the German shepherd in particular. We have trained and titled and continue to train other breeds of dogs other than the German shepherd dog. Occasionally, we have litters of German shepherds out of the best working bloodlines available.
In addition to breeding and importing, we provide training seminars for beginners as well as handlers at all levels. Our knowledge and experience makes what we offer invaluable to young men and women interested in learning how to do trial and training decoy work. Our ability to help decoys and handlers understand how and why they do the things that they do to their dog is truly remarkable.
We have been referred to as having superior training, coaching and teaching abilities. Our accomplishments with the dogs that we have trained and helped other people train, are a testimony to our adaptability and intuitive understanding of canine behavior.
